Women's Ministry

so that, just as it is written,
"LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD."

1 Corinthians 1:31

The Women's Ministry exists to equip Christian sisters to walk in a manner worthy of Christ through study of Scripture, prayer, and fellowship.

We support and encourage the following activities and ministries that serve the women at Desert Sun: Bible studies, Book studies, Day and Weekend Retreats, Game and Craft Nights, Ladies Socials, and more.

If you have a special interest to minister to our church ladies in some area, please contact our ministry team at:

Lady's bible Study Series

The DSCC Women’s Ministry invites women to the final gathering of our 2026 Ladies Bible Study Series, centered on Paul’s powerful prayer in Colossians 1:9–12.

Join us on Saturday, November 7, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. in Building A as we explore what it means to grow in spiritual wisdom, walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, endure with patience, and give thanks with joy.

This final gathering will include biblical teaching, meaningful fellowship, and a light brunch as we encourage one another to know Christ more deeply and live faithfully for Him.

Please register today! We hope you will join us as we conclude this year’s study together.

The Book of Isaiah

Join us for the Isaiah Study, a welcoming and collaborative Bible study where women come together to explore the Book of Isaiah. This is not a traditional taught study but a shared journey of reading, discovering, and discussing Scripture as a group, using resources from the DSCC library. The study’s length is guided by the engagement and momentum of participants, allowing for a meaningful and flexible experience. We meet on campus twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Come for fellowship, encouragement, and a deeper understanding of God’s Word!
