Welcome to the world of ministry for/with/by children. The smiles of children making new discoveries, the energy of children in a group setting, the sounds of children in song and in learning, and the insights of children as God is present in their lives, all make for a fascinating ministry.
There's a lot going on in our Children's Department.
Saturday night - 6pm
2's - 5's - Saturrday Bible Club - this fun-filled class teaches children of Jesus' love through exciting adventures.
Elementary - Saturday Bible Club - kids learn how to connect to God in a real, day-to-day way with Bible verses, worship, activities and much more.
Sunday morning - 9am
2's - 3's - Sunday School - children learn of Jesus' love and learn to share that love with others.
4's - 5's - Sunday School - this energetic group learn about God's love and power through activities, games, and song.
Elementary - Sunday School - kids enjoy a time of worhsip before breaking into grade-specific classes focusing on attributes of God through a unique, fun theme and age-appropriate Bible lessons.
Sunday morning - 10:45am
2's - 5's - Bible Exploration - Kids dive in and get involved, learning as they explore the Bible.
Elementary - Kid's Worship - When kids worship God, amazing things happen.
Nursery is available for children under 2 during each of the above services.

Vacation Bible School - July 12-16 2010
This summer, bring your kids to Egpyt VBS—an experience of they’ll never forget! Based on the life of Joseph—Egpyt VBS transports young minds back in time through the sights and smells of ancient Egypt. Summer Camp - July 23-25 2010
Wondrous adventure awaits your child this year at camp. Kid’s summer camp provides your child with the chance to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests.
Summer camp includes 3 fun filled days of adventure and fun! Your kids will be treated to all of the best camp memories: singing around the campfire, smores, scavenger hunts, zip line, swimming, hayrides and more! It is sure to build memories that will last a lifetime
Our vision for children’s ministry is simple: To lead the children of the Next Generation into a loving, committed relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to train and prepare them for the purpose that God created them for. Our plan is to develop relationships through: Connecting, Growing, Leading, Reaching Out, and Worshipping.
At Desert Son Community Church we are all about kids and families. We love kids and our prayer is that your kids will feel loved and accepted as soon as they walk on our campus. Kids matter to God and they matter to us! We know that faith development begins at an early age and we strive to help equip families to be the faith mentors of their children.
